Jared Hirst had a night to remember at the 4th Annual Central Coast Business Excellence Awards held on Saturday night at Crowne Plaza Terrigal.Hirst won the hotly contested Young Entrepreneur Award before his company Servers Australia won Excellence in Business. His third win was the prestigious title of Business of the Year.
The sold out event had guests donning a pair of sunglasses as they entered the Grand Ballroom that had been turned into a thick haze sliced by bright lights befitting the theme of Think Bright. Shining Lights. One Night.
He was not the only one to enjoy multiple successes with Steinbok Schnapps taking out Excellence in Small Business and Excellence in Innovation. Treehouse Creative who won Excellence in Business Ethics joined them as owner Jason van Genderen won the coveted Business Leader Award.
Life Time Achievement was bestowed upon Harvey World Travel Erina’s Maxeine McKeon, just the second person to receive this Award.
The very talented Rod McCormack won a special award for his Contribution to Creative Industries, Alison Cook, Young Business Executive and the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce took out Local Chamber of the Year.
The irrepressible and laconic Adam Harvey who had guests in raptures plus singing along entertained guests. Seventeen year old Alicia Brock stunned the audience with a beautiful performance and Joe Coffee proved he was a class act. Both feature in the recently released Coast Sessions CD.
