No. The Awards are open to members and non-members.
Yes, in most categories. However, Excellence in Manufacturing, Outstanding Contribution to the Central Coast and Lifetime Achievement Award are exclusive to CCBEA.
Judges are selected based on their career, positions held and accomplishments. They all sign confidentiality agreements and treat entry information with strictest confidence upholding the integrity of the Awards program.
Yes, the Judges score each answer. All answers should be considered carefully including information that highlights the great achievements of the business. Please note, it is prudent to write your answers in a word document and paste rather than complete answers direct in the electronic form.
The majority of past winners are entrants that have written their own submission. You know your business better than anyone else, inside and out; top to bottom and no one can replicate your passion for it. It is permitted to use a professional writer however you must submit with your nomination the name/company of the professional writer.
Most past entrants will testify that entering the CCBEA assists their business greatly through self-evaluating their goals and objectives and being able to benchmark against key indicators and competitors. If you are recognised as a winner, you can market yourself as the best in the region or state.
